The Flotilla held is annual PPE (personal protective equipment) swim on April 26. Part of the required activities for boat crew is to test the drysuit for leaks on an annual basis by submerging the suit in water. Despite being called a “swim”, the participants actually just float in shallow water. The boat crew and coxswains who met at the Bloedel Donavan swimming beach were Leslie Parks, Manny Eusebio and Jeff Shaw. Flotilla Commander Pam C-K was the safety watch.
